The Beaches

A tired and dated semi in the Beaches has been transformed into a Cape Cod inspired charmer. Carina Cassidy Design was retained to consult on the facade revitalization and to design and install the front and backyard landscapes. The brief for the compact backyard ,which is bordered by two heritage buildings, was to include perennial plantings, an area for herbs & vegetables, a dining area and a dog run. A custom screened gazebo with double roof is positioned off the back patio door to provide the homeowner with an extended season and additional entertaining space. The home and it's colourful cottage garden now reflects the homeowner's style and the charming character of the neighbourhood.
