Financial District
A terrace in the financial district with killer downtown views was waiting to become a sophisticated outdoor entertaining space. The client requested the adjacent common area to be part of the overall design and tasked me with making this a reality. This meant hiring contractors with a knowledge of construction, landscaping and plants who also have the working at heights certification, in addition the condo board’s approval was needed to proceed. A design was finalized, skilled contractors with the right certification were hired and board approvals were secured. The result is a luxurious entertaining space and low maintenance terrace garden with plantings that provide softness and greenery, sumptuous furnishings, custom lighting and irrigation complete the space. A customized maintenance plan ensures the terrace garden will continue to thrive for the busy homeowner.
