Carina Cassidy Landscape Design is a full service landscape design studio with a focus on residential properties. Dedicated to creating a sense of place, Carina has a passion for gardens and outdoor spaces. A garden enthusiast, plant lover and design junkie, the garden has always offered a refuge to relax, experiment, meditate, entertain and provide a space to enjoy with family and friends.
A former media executive and publisher Carina spent her corporate career building Canada’s most iconic lifestyle media brands (Canadian House & Home, Canadian Living, Gardening Life, Canadian Gardening & Canadian Family) across a variety of platforms including print, online, television and via consumer shows. Years of directing and overseeing editorial, creative & sales teams has uniquely positioned Carina to oversee the development and installation of design projects while working with skilled contractors, trades and suppliers in the construction and creation of beautiful outdoor spaces.
Carina is a graduate of the Landscape Design program at Ryerson University and the recipient of the University's Shaun Gallaugher Award for Design Excellence in landscape design. Carina completed the Toronto Botanical Gardens Master Class in Garden Design with internationally renowned British Garden Designer John Brookes.
Certified as a Fusion Landscape Professional, Carina has the expertise and knowledge to design bio-diverse landscapes addressing sustainability and climate change. Carina is a member of Landscape Ontario and provides design consultations for Sheridan Nurseries.
